Vicarage Program at Pella

To become an ordained Pastor, the LCMS requires a Bachelor's degree and then four years of additional training. Three of those years occur at a seminary school, and one year is internship or "vicarage." Our congregation voted to apply for our first Vicar in 2020. We have now hosted four men who have walked alongside Pastor Knuth as he mentored and guided them in the profession of Pastor to which they feel called.
